Israel has released detail about how to propose toeasy the blockade of Gaza strip, saying all civillan goods are now being allowed in. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the current system of visiting goods permitted to enter Gaza would be replaced by the smaller list of the items banned. Israel has faced intented international pressure to ease the blockade after an Israeli raid on ships carrying aid to Gzaza 3 weeks ago resulted in the deaths of 9 Turkish activists. The midlest encvoy Tony Blare said today’s statement would achieve 3 things.
It moves situation where those items on the permitted list come into Gaza, to a situation where coming into Gaza is a course unless it is on the prohibited list . It allows the facilitate in the United Station’s project for construction in things like schools, hospitals, waters, sanitations, and so on.
The German development minister, Dirk Niebel, has criticized Israel’s refusal to allowe him to enter Gaza. Mr. Niebel who is currently on a visit Israel, said the government was hurting his interest and making difficult for its friends understand the behavior. He hopes to meet the UN refugee officials agency in Gaza, and visit Swish tree plant founded by German Development aid.
Police in Iraq said 26 people have been killed and more than 50 others wounded in 2 suicide car bombings. They happened outside the bank and interior ministry of Baghdad. Jim Muer reports.
The 2 bombers went off about a minute apart as the suicide blew up their cars at the check point controlling the bank and the access to the ministry building. The bank top blanted out blasts which ripped the front of the building. Security guards were among the dead and injured. So were to the people happened in this area at this busy time going to the bank or to the ministry building which give them identity cards. Only last week the heavily guarded Iraqi central bank was attacked by a suicide gunman. From inspeculation, financial institutions may be the latest catagroup target choosen by insurgence.
